Delicious Sweet Baby
This recipe will take a full 9 months to prepare but you will be rewarded with succulently fat thighs, on you and the baby.
Serves 2
1 (6 lb, 15 oz) baby girl
1 dozen onesies, in various shades of pink
5 cases newborn diapers
10 cases baby wipes
1 tube Boudreaux’s Butt Paste, optional
2 exhausted parents
the most local milk supply you can find
An infinite amount of patience, and willingness to get up in the middle of the night.
Hello readers! I haven’t disappeared completely. I finally had my baby, this little bundle of love and cuteness.
More recipes coming soon once I can come up for air. I promise. Hang in there with me while I get this little Sweet Pea past the hardest part.
As the daddy and chief diaper-changer, I posit that the butt paste is NOT optional.
🙂
Congratulations and enjoy your new bundle of joy. I have three and the only advice I will give is to enjoy every sweet moment. Take lots of pictures, they grow up so incredibly fast.

oh my goodness – congratulations! she is beautiful. i hope you’re feeling well!!
@Ken: I already can’t believe how much she changes every day. Visibly growing right before our eyes. Are you telling me one day she’ll actually drive and go to college? Not possible.
@radish: Thanks! I’ve had my share of feeling like total crap, during pregnancy and now after a C-section, but it’s amazing how it all just vanishes when she looks up at me.
OMG Darla..congrats!!!! She is beautiful..
